When you've been into shoes for 11 plus years and you see the progression, well in recent years, the down fall of the quality and creativity of shoes, you have to admit when shit has finally be done right. Leave it to Jordan for the material to not be as good as the original. The fact remains these LOOK GOOD. and i may have to cop as an everyday beater and get an OG pair to stash away. Who has a 94 Pair? Anyone? Anyone? You? You? (How High). Retros are not going anywhere people. Everyone hyped sneakers beyond belief and Nike is a company. therefore they will give the consumer what they demand if the money is there. The IV's look good too but I'm a white cement kind of guy. So lets see who will beast over these, the IV's and the Infrareds that drop in two styles this August. I mean hey, you newbies asked for it right? Now two things can happen with this release, either the value of the 2001 and 1994 will rise, or it will fall. I'm hoping for the later. Now i know the first thing to come up. But it doesn't have Nike Air on the back. funny thing is the majority of you all do not even know the situation between Jordan and Nike in 1997 that made Jordan Brand its own separate entity. Ima learns you, ima learns you (How High). Besides, unlike the big Jumpman on the breds, they did the logo on the back to mock the true blue and white cement III's. I triple dog dare you to complain!

The Air Jordan III was designed by
Tinker Hatfield. It was the first Air Jordan to feature a visible air unit on the heel, the new
Jumpman logo, an elephant print trim, and tumble leather for a luxury look. The Air Jordan III were also famous for the humorous ads depicting
Spike Lee as Mars Blackmon--the character he played in his film She's Gotta Have It. This campaign was known as "Mars and Mike" ad campaign. This was one Nike's most successful advertisement campaigns. These were the first jordans to feature the "NIKE AIR" logo on the back, but later replaced by the jumpman logo, with the words "AIR" underneath it, similar to the Air Jordan VI.
The Air Jordan III's had poor sales when first retroed in 1994. However when they were re-retroed they sold out instantly. A pair of the Air Jordan III model can be sold for over 300 dollars. (

Moving Out
-Air Jordan Shoes were a part of the Nike, Inc. family until late in 1997 Nike unveiled a new marketing plan and Jordan became its own sub-brand of Nike. To mark this change, the new Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan XIII, Air Jordan Team, and Air Jordan Trainers. From this point on, Jordan Brand products no longer featured the Nike name or Nike Swoosh, and their only connection to Nike,Inc is a fine print address for Nike headquarters to be used for insurance purposes. -

I don't give a rats ass about the jumpman or the nike air or whatever. The shoe is ill. I just wish I didn't have to cop an ugly ass 20 too!!! Man, I want two pairs of these...but spending $600 plus is unlikely to happen.
Thank you Gentry. smh...
love the shoe regardless, when do these drop?
