I've Seen the Light
I admit that I am not the most religious person and I am skeptical on the reality of life after death, creation and what have you, but I can openly admit that the other day I received a sign from God. I have never lost or left anything without me immediately knowing where I put it. However on August 11th I ran into the Student Center, said a few hello's, took money out of the ATM, saw my balance, went down to mail some shoes as I normally do, and went to catch my train to class. As soon as I got on the platform I felt like Redman in How High "FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!" I lost my check card. I called the people I just saw and they didn't see it. Called PNC and my balance was the same so they put a hold on the card. After thinking over the situation, I concluded that it was not the end of the world but was a form of disipline. I have been spending an excessive amount of money this summer on unneccessary items. Instead of focusing on the bills I have, deposites and my whip that I scream about needing to take care of, I was about to buy four more pairs of shoes totaling another $1100+. I have enough 'things' and I need to be more responsible. If I really plan on being successful and take part in the investments and projects I have planned, then I need to sacrifice the small, immediate, materialistic needs to obtain the greater goal that lies ahead. Im retireing like MJ. But I'll be back, "Wearing the 4-5. It aint to play games with you, it's to aim at you. Probably name you....." Had to get my Hova on real fast. He retired and came back too. See I'm in King Aurther's round table of greatness.
