The questions circling are:
Are you Happy?
What you think?
and from me, Was it worth it?
Now for the guys at Made, I had no intention of being arrogant when I said "I mean 250 in a week promo, i guess", I was actually personally disappointed with the turnout. roughly 250 in attendance and I only had a week to promote but when the idea developed in April, my vision was a lot greater. I couldn't have done it alone. Thank you to all that made Facebook invites, moved tickets, conned people into buying tickets(Aden), made blog posts, distributed fliers etc. I appreciate your help.
Am I happy? Um, i suppose I can be. It was successful in many's eye. I was blown my sound came two hours late. It was the first homecoming fashion show, and it happened. I was able to provide a relaxed atmosphere for Wale and his fans to mingle and chill, and talk Cowboys garbage to Tre and the Enforcer.
What you think? I think I can do alot with what I was given. I learned alot since this was my first fashion show I coorordinated. Number one change will be, less performances, more promotion, cheaper tickets and less models. As far as the show, I didnt see it so I look forward to my copy of the dvd.
Was it worth it? Yea. It was a stepping stone, a building block for the future. It raised expectations. At the end of my college career, no one can say I never tried and thats all that matters. At least I tried and thats all an individual can do.
ANY and ALL pictures email them to me. Thanks
